First, I want to say a great big thank you to everyone who has sent lovely messages, left encouraging comments and donated to Rainbow Phil’s Coffee Fund while I’ve been doing “Quarantine Song and Story Time“, you’re generosity and kind messages are truly heartwarming.
Times are changing
The times literally are changing in many ways, but more specifically “Quarantine Song and Story Time” will be on at 10am from now on, this is because the RTE School Hour will be on at 11am and I didn’t want to detract from their viewing figures…
New ideas are a foot…
I’m not sure what that means exactly, but since we’re all staying safely at home for at least the next two weeks, I figured I should work on some new material – so stay tuned for songs about speckled frogs, an episode all about buses, a super-mega train special, a brand new octopus song and puppet routine and a twinkly star and space special… plus whatever else I think of while I’m doing the washing up!
As well as new material, and since our living conditions are that much stricter now, I was contemplating stepping up my game to include shows at different times of the day; ‘Wednesday Matinee’ and ‘Friday Gin O’Clock’ for example… and for you Instagramers, I could do Instagram Live at 10:30 immediately after I’ve finished on Facebook – If you like the sound of any of these ideas, please let me know by sending me message or leaving a comment somewhere! Although, at the same time I don’t want to give you all Rainbow Phil-Fatigue…

Whatever happens outside, I fully intend to keep on broadcasting ‘Quarantine Song and Story Time’ for as long as I am able to and for as long as you guys keep tuning in – I’m looking forward to trying some new ideas and having fun with the format too!
