Kids Parties
Did you know that as well as being Dublin’s leading children’s musician, Rainbow Phil is also a balloon twister?? I can make all kinds of balloon animals from dogs to flowers to swords to monkeys and even FLYING MONKEYS!!
For kids parties, I do approximately 45mins of children’s music featuring bells, bubbles, puppets and parachute, followed by making balloon animals for all the children!
The cost for this is typically €200 for a party with 10-15 kids, in a family home in and around North Dublin. However, costs can vary depending on the scale of the party so please contact me with the details of what you have planned for an accurate quote.
Early booking is advisable as my weekends can often get booked up rather quickly…

School Visits
Would you like special guest to come into your school? Then why not ask Rainbow Phil? I have three options that you can mix and match from as follows;
- 45min stage show for Jr/Sr infants
- Interactive workshop for Jr/Sr infants (max 10 per group)
- Guitar Presentation for 1st class and above
The stage show is my “Jungle Adventure” which features a string of songs more suited to the Jr/Sr infant age group, tied together by a tenuous narrative around visiting The Jungle – it’s a tried a tested show and the kids love it!
The interactive workshop is more hands on. I have a selection of drums and percussion instruments, and interactive activities for the kids to enjoy. These can last between 30-40mins depending how many groups I need to squeeze into one morning
For the older kids, I like to do my guitar presentation. This involves bringing in an electric guitar, a bass guitar, an acoustic guitar, along with a variety of effects pedals. I explain in simple terms, the differences and similarities between the three guitars and how the different guitars each make their unique sound. I explain and demonstrate different playing styles and techniques and showcase the variety of sounds achievable using the effects pedals. This presentation can take between 30-45mins depending on the level of detail you want and/or time constraints.
The cost varies on which options you would like me to do, which day of the week and whether or not I would need to cancel my usual morning activities in order to attend your school. Typically, a full morning with two jr/sr infants shows and a guitar presentation would be in the region of €450
Community events/Local Festivals
I have a 45min stage show suitable for kids up to around the age of 8, which features some of my best loved songs and routines all tied together with a tenuous narrative of going on an adventure to the jungle to see the jungle animals, but unexpectedly encountering dinosaurs and then somehow being chased by sharks!
Local festivals and events that I have performed at include;
- St Anne’s Park Rose Festival
- Stoneybatter Festival
- Down Syndrome Dublin’s Party In The Park (Fitzwilliam Square)
- Clongriffin Multicultural Festival (Eid Celebration)
The cost per show varies on how many performances per day you would like and how much of my own audio gear I need to provide. Typically €300 per show.
Please note: I no longer offer balloon animals for large events.
Seasonal events
I have seasonal shows which I perform at the following times of the year;
- Christmas
- Halloween
- St Patricks Day
- Easter
Each show lasts around 45mins and is suitable for kids aged up to around 5 or 6 years old. The Christmas show is suitable for who enjoys singing Christmas songs!
The music/puppet shows can be combined with making balloons animals for small to medium sized parties. Prices vary depending on the scale of the event you have planned along with whether or not I would need to cancel any of my regular morning activities.
