Portmarnock Sports and Leisure Centre (PSLC), Blackwood Lane, Portmarnock
This is as far north as I manage to get and as close to either Malahide or Donabate that I currently go! We are in the Sports Hall which is just to the right of the reception desk as you enter the building. It’s all ground floor with no steps or lifts to worry about! The sports hall is MASSIVE, which can be a little overwhelming for children as first. There are enough chairs to accommodate 15 households with two chairs per household. Since the space is so huge, I’m not restricting numbers but this does mean I can’t guarantee you a chair! It may be an idea to come prepared with a yoga mat or a portable play mat to keep yourself comfortable!
There’s a cafe upstairs in the centre, and also a coffee hatch just inside the main entrance. There is also a little playground, all safely fenced off, beside the car park. Speaking of the car park, it’s huge, no shortage of spaces!
