Bank Holiday/Halloween Saturday Superhouse Special

This weekend is the Bank Holiday Weekend before Halloween, so I’ve got to do something special for Saturday Superhouse, right?!

Sadly, I won’t be able to dress up as ‘Robert Smith From The Cure In A Rubbish Skeleton Onesie’ this year since my hair is now too short to back comb and my skeleton onesie “went missing” at some point over the last year…

If you have been at Saturday Superhouse in the Red Stables this last couple of weeks then you will have heard me jibbering about “Room on the Broom – The Musical”

I did my rendition of “Room on The Broom – The Musical” this time last year, when Saturday Superhouse was held in the Playschool at St Gabriel’s Parish Centre. I was thinking I could do it again this year, at the Red Stables in St Anne’s Park, but I’m really not sure if it was all that good…

Hopefully the above video gives you an idea of what it was like… I dunno, you tell me, Julia Donaldson’s Room on The Broom sung in the style of the mid 90’s Scottish indie band Travis – maybe?!

The safe idea!!

Of course there’s alway Balloon Animals! If you didn’t already know, my party piece (literally!) is making Balloon Animals – I can make a dog, a sword, a flower, a giraffe, a monkey, a flying monkey, a flying mouse, a butterfly or a twirly twirly thing with a love heart on the top which doesn’t have a name yet, or a crown at a push.

Here’s me making a balloon Monkey!

So let me know!

Would you like to see a reprise of Room on The Broom – The Musical, or will I just make Balloon Animals, or do you want both?!

Either way, this weeks Saturday Superhouse will be a good laugh and a treat for you and the kids! So why not pop down to St Anne’s Park on Saturday at either 10am, 11am or 12noon – you don’t need to book a place just come along join in and have fun!

Read all the way to the end? Have a Frank Zappa quote…

“Shake up the pale-dry ginger ale
Tremblin’ like a Penguin, when the battery fail”
