During the ‘Before Times’ I would spend my weekday mornings travelling around North Dublin to sing at playgroups, play cafes and play centres, some days I would make up to three appearances in one morning!

We would sing songs with my guitar, pop bubbles, meet my puppet friends, hide under my play parachute and always end with The Hokey Cokey!

I also hosted music classes for babies and toddlers in conjunction with Rainbow Music For Kids, once a week I would visit the Down Syndrome Dublin baby group and every Saturday I would be in the Red Stables in St Anne’s Park where I hosted indoor music shows enjoyed by both kids and grown ups!

The REd Stables
Getting my regular Saturday morning slot in The Red Stables was such a blessing – I would do three shows back to back, no advance booking required just turn up on a Saturday morning and have a good time!

Having my own dedicated space where parents would bring their kids to see me allowed me the creative freedoms to develop material that wouldn’t have worked in a playgroup/play centre setting. Within about a year of establishing my Saturday mornings in St Anne’s I had started organising special ticketed seasonal shows for Halloween, Christmas and Easter etc…
These shows were so much fun to put together, both the kids and the grown ups really enjoyed them and everyone always had a great time! Hopefully one day we can get back in there and do it all again!
